A new apparent relativistic paradox is presented involving only one space-time event. This different from earlier ‘relativistic paradoxes' extended bodies or events at positions. collision between a rod and ring impacting an oblique angle to each other considered in the context of special theory relativity. question arises as where along length point impact will be according two observers inertial rest frames ring, respectively. Note that rod-frame, sliding, not rolling, so frame inertial, rotating. The argue purely kinematical view favor points rod. However there can exist impact. In order solve this paradox, we use asynchronous formulation kinematics, which consequences relativity simultaneity are built into formalism. We show reconciles descriptions reference, hence ‘paradox' leads strong argument for relevance kinematics.
